This project was undertaken on a fully operational care home where Qualis, acting as Principal Contractor, worked closely with the care home management and staff to ensure we delivered a truly outstanding finish, while ensuring full compliance to H&S regulations to maintain the safety of all staff, patients and public was met throughout.
The project consisted of a first-floor link extension between two existing buildings - creating four additional bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, offices and store rooms.
The works included some additional alterations to existing buildings, where the requirement of access to the new proposed extension was required.
Further upgrades to existing areas also consisted of the remodelling and refurbishment of communal kitchen and office spaces, along with internal fire door upgrades and floor finishes.
Originally planned as a six month project, Qualis completed a full handover to the client three weeks ahead of schedule.
