Snappy revival for a classy town house
This dilapidated property had significant structural movement damage which had caused cracks to internal and external masonry, sunken floors and deformed door frames.
Qualis Construction worked tirelessly with the client, and our appointed structural engineer, to ensure building integrity was restored, the internal layout was altered to maximise usability, and a high end finish was achieved throughout.
Works completed include:
- Rebuilding of rear and side facades of the property
- Resin stitching to a number of areas of masonry where minor cracking had occurred.
- Replacement of internal door and window lintels
- Replacement of multiple internal floors
- Full strip out of all plaster coverings
- Remodel of internal layout
- Replacement mechanical & electrical services throughout, including external drainage alterations
- Full roof line replacement
- New plastered finish throughout
- Replacement kitchen, family bathroom, ensuite, ground floor WC and utility
- New woodwork throughout including doors, frames, skirting and architrave
- New floor coverings throughout
- Window and door upgrades
- Rendered finish to the rear of the property with all other facing brickwork chased out and repointed
All works were completed on time and within the budget established during the project planning stage.
